The son disappears
Scenario
Worried father Leon takes his son camping in the Appalachian Mountains. A local cult summons the demon Executioner.
It wouldn’t have exploded, he would have done better to hit him with it
Leon must confront the cult and the monster to find him amidst the mounting body count. During the climactic fight with Executioner, after Leon fails to pull the pin on a grenade (the safety lever is clearly still in place).
Leon: What’s up, Toots?
Every decision made by the writers, director, cameramen, actors and their characters was the worst possible decision. It was so bad in every way.
It’s like they asked the audience to suggest a genre, subgenre, tone and a new character to introduce for three acts, and they just threw it all together to create a mash-up of all the ideas
Or maybe two interns, carrying two separate scripts, ran down the hallway and bumped into each other, dropping piles of papers, and when they picked up all the pages they found that the two scripts had been mixed together and that was the one that had been produced.
